VALEQ was born from a simple, lifelong truth: a love for horses isn’t just a hobby; it’s a lifestyle.
My name is Sophie, and I founded this brand because, like you, I am happiest when I am at the stables. I grew up around horses and had riding lessons throughout my childhood. Then life happened and unfortunately I had to give up my dreams of an equestrian lifestyle... until this year! In the summer of 2025, I found myself with a lot of free time and living with the New Forest on my door step and this opened up an opportunity. I wandered down to a local riding school and unexpectedly found myself an incredible new community of two and four-legged friends. And I wouldn't be without them now.
So, why VALEQ? I wanted to create a destination that didn't just sell products, but celebrated the equestrian way of life. I realised there was a gap for a store that could seamlessly blend the practical "equestrian essentials" we need for a hard day's work with the fun, stylish apparel that lets us express our passion even when we're away from the yard.
